Associated With the Kimmel Families


These are images in which all or most of the persons are unidentified.

Associated with Stephen Kimmel (1843-1927), son of Elijah and Perneta (Cazee) Kimmel.  Wife Serilda Temples.
Description:  image of a huge family gathering of 72 people taken from a postcard.
Circumstances:  postcard came originally from Bill Swift who's family was close friends with the people pictured.
Time:  believed to be September 1907.
Place:  Home built by Jacob Thomas Flick in Orange County, Indiana.  (Sold Oct. 1907 to his brother George Amos Flick.)

Associated with Daniel Kimmel (1854-1914), son of George and Elizabeth (Zook) Kimmel.  Wife Leah Myers.
Description: individual photographs.
Circumstances:  Several small photos, mostly tintypes, in a small bound album in possession of Ona and Bessie (Gordon) Kimmel.  The only identified photo is of a cousin of Ona's, Noah Stanley.  A non-Kimmel document in this collection is Nancy (Myers) Miller's Bible.
Time:  1890s
