About the KIMMEL Mail List -- Rootsweb



KIMMEL-L is a posting center on the Rootsweb site for people interested in the surname Kimmel and variations of the name. Simply, messages can be posted to this site and copies of the messages are automatically e-mailed to everyone subscribed to the mailing list. There is no charge to subscribe, it's easy to get on the mailing list, and you can easily get off the list whenever you feel you don't want the messages coming in.

This option will send each message to your e-mail when it is posted. To subscribe to the mail list, click this button, type "subscribe" as the only word in the message and click 'send.' Don't put anything else in the message. When you have been put on the mail list, you will get e-mail saying so. To get back off the mail list, click this same button, type "unsubscribe" as the only word in the message and click 'send.' It's that easy.

To subscribe to the mail list in digest mode, click this button, type "subscribe" as the only word in the message and click 'send.' Don't put anything else in the message. When you have been put on the mailing l, you will get e-mail saying so. To get back off the mail list (digest mode), click this same button, type "unsubscribe" as the only word in the message and click 'send.'

If you've subscribed to the mail list in normal mode and decide you want the digest mode instead, be sure to "unsubscribe" to the one before you "subscribe" to the other!

Sending messages to Rootsweb's Kimmel mail list
